Musical Theatre
New for August 2010
The Musical
Theatre class is a non-exam lesson.
The purpose is to enhance stage presence and projection as well as
instil confidence. It gives the
students the opportunity to perform different styles from popular musical
theatre shows, while encouraging the students to be creative.
During the
term, students will have the opportunity
to use and learn the skills associated with different types of technology
used in today’s current professional shows, such as discrete head worn
wireless microphones and both wired and wireless hand held microphones.
The ambience of
the class is to be fun as well as improving stage skills. Our guest teachers, who have also
performed professionally, can import some of their knowledge and expertise
to the students in an enjoyable manner.
The minimum age
for this class is 7 years.
